Cookies
Short version: we store what the site needs to work, and only count visits if you say yes.
Your choice
When you first visit, we ask whether you’re happy for us to count visits. “No thanks” is as easy as “Yes please”, and nothing optional runs until you choose. You can change your mind at any time:
Always on: needed for the site to work
Under the UK’s Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, storage that is strictly necessary for a service you asked for does not need consent.

Only with your OK: counting visits
If you accept, we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read and where the sign-up loses people. It only loads after you accept: before that, and if you reject, your browser sends nothing to Google. We switched off Google signals and ad personalisation, and Analytics keeps the data for 2 months. Google acts as our processor.
| Name | Type | Why | How long |

| _ga_HMSEGFB3DT | Cookie, Google Analytics | Keeps track of the current visit | 2 months |
If you change your mind and reject, we stop Analytics and delete these cookies.
What we never use
- No advertising or social media tracking pixels, and no Google advertising features.
- No third-party fonts loaded from other servers: our typeface is hosted with the site.
Clearing it
You can delete this storage at any time in your browser settings. We’ll then ask about cookies again.
